This chapter introduces the basic form of grammar in English. The chapter also breaks down the various parts of speech by giving examples and how they are used. I feel that this chapter has helped me better understand basic grammar and has taught me to explain grammar to non English speakers. I was surprised of how much English Grammar I remembered. There seems to be a lot of particulars to English Grammar I need to still sort out. I am sure there are quick reference guides available that I need to have in order to master English Grammar. I found this unit took me longer to read through than I thought it would. I have certainly learnt a great deal from it today as it went into a lot of detail regarding grammar which I had forgotten. It also reminded me to correct some of my grammar that I may have been using incorrectly.
