Unit 2 Parts of Speech. This unit is an introduction to English Grammar, it explains and provides deffinitions of each part of speech and proper usage of it.
In this unit I have learned about English grammar rules and how to explain those rules to my future students. I think this unit was well-organized and very helpful. Beginning with the basic parts of speech was simple. Continuing on to review uncountable and countable nouns, superlative adjectives, particlple forms and transitive verbs were extremely helpful. I think I will be able to use this lesson as a Guide in the classroom. This unit provided an overview of the various parts of speech. This is helpful because when speaking I typically rely on what ?sounds right.? The sections on articles, pronouns, prepositions, and conjunctions were particularly useful. Additionally, the reminder of how many irregular verbs there are will be useful, as they can be difficult.
