This unit was extremely enlightening, the content was detailed, and I feel that I learnt a great amount about the various teaching methodologies, theories and techniques. I now understand that each method has its positives and negatives and when used at the appropriate time almost all methods can be used. I feel and agree that the most learning would be achieved when students are in an environment that is less stressful and one in which students feel the least amount of anxiety. Prior to this unit, I was unaware that there are so many methods to teach and learn English. I think this unit has provided a clearer picture on how to structure a basic lesson.
