In this unit i learned the basics of sentence structure, and possible variations within the structure; the rules which apply to these sentence's structures; different classifications of each word that makes up a sentence, and also how these classifications relate to one another. I learned (also from my own experience) that the finer points of grammar are not something that most native speakers have any knowledge of, they usually pick it up from experience rather than study each idea, as non-native speakers are required to do
