Teachers need to give students their full attention, and provide support but also tell them off when they make mistakes. Students need to know that teachers will protect them from any dangers and help them through their problems as well as helping them learn new things. Everyone learns from mistakes and teachers can guide students to not make the same mistakes they might have when they were the student’s age. Mother This topic is suggesting that teachers need to be able to calm down the students. If a student; for example, cries because they have got a bad mark, the teacher can provide the support to say it’s fine and this is how you can improve for next time, explaining how to do the task again so they understand it better. Sometimes teachers also need to have a shoulder available for students to cry on. The students should feel comfortable with their teacher so that they can talk to them and the teacher can positively reinforce them that things will improve. Role model Teachers need to be a role model 24 hours a day. They need to give them positive energy and positive feedback, so that they can see how they can keep improving and growing their knowledge so that they have a brighter future ahead of them. If the students enjoy being taught by that teacher, they will look up to them and want to be like them in the future. Counsellor Teachers need to be available for the student’s problems. Teachers can let the students know that they are always available for them. There may be times when the teacher cannot provide the student with the correct answer; however they can point them in the right direction and help them find it, so they can continue to improve. Teachers can encourage the students to have confidence in being able to do tasks that they may feel overwhelmed by. Sometimes learning life lessons is tough, but teachers are there to guide students through and help them succeed. Champion All teachers need to be a champion for their students. If there are things that aren’t right or are unfair, the teacher can help to stand up for these things to protect the student. Teachers are there to guide the students in the right directions and help them reach their goals, supporting them through the whole process. Teacher People become teachers for the love of providing a better future for children, and for seeing the students improve over the years, giving the teachers a sense of achievement. They constantly want the best for the students. Being a teacher is not an easy job and therefore they need to love teaching and love children.
