This unit provides insight into basic understanding of teaching;from what a good teacher and learner should be, the stages of language learning and the importance of motivation. I have learnt in detail that a teacher is much more than just someone who passes on knowledge, and much of a student's learning comes from motivation, that of which the teacher must sometimes encourage. Something new to me would be the different stages of a learner and what they all mean. For example where I live the level of "Pre-intermediate" does not exist. This level provides a wide range for students to grow and be categorized.
