Some of the characteristics of a good teacher are being kind, patient, lively and enthusiastic, sensitive, caring, with a good subject knowledge and being able to motivate learners. The roles a teacher has such as manager, organizer, assessor, prompter, participant, tutor, facilitator, model and observer, should be used based on the activity they wish the students to achieve. A good teacher should know which role to take and when and to be able to switch them accurately. Some of the factors of a good learner are willingness to listen the language and to ask questions, desire to learn, acceptance of error correction and to experiment with the language. Some factors as age, dividing the learners as adults (18+) and young lerners; learning experience; motivation; nervousness; culture and first language should be taken into account while teaching in order to find an appropriate method to encourage them learn a language. According to their language level, they could be characterized as beginners, elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper intermediate, and advanced students, depending on the complex of grammar and vocabulary they use.
