After finishing the unit, I can understand the warning they give at the beginning, it certainly took me a few reads to really comprehend the differences between “continuous”, “perfect”, and of course “perfect continuous”, among other things. I struggled to try and explain to myself why the common student errors were errors and why the correct saying is so, it will be interesting to figure out ways to explain those, I can see why it's a difficult subject for teachers.
