I found this unit very interesting. Based on the title of the unit 'present tenses' I figured it would be a relatively short, simple, and straightforward chapter. However, what I ended up learning was that there are many different ways to describe something in the present; there are multiple forms of the present tense aside from the basic 'present simple' form such as "I go to the gym." What I learned is that there are many ways to describe something in the present and the requirements needed to form a correct sentence depending on the form to not only keep the sentence in the present tense, but also give it the desired meaning you want it to have. What I enjoyed most about this chapter was the 'typical student errors/mistakes' examples at the end of each present tense form section as it will help me going forward in anticipating the problems students have and will have with each form and how to correct them when those common errors do arise.
